Recent Reading
I’m a voracious reader. Below are some of the books I’m reading or have recently read about Christian life and spirituality.
Normal Christianity – If Jesus is Normal, What is the Church? – Strongly recommended!
A Practical Guide to Evangelism Supernaturally – I took a course in evangelism that Chris was lead instructor for. This book covers much of the material in that class, and is as much about our attitudes and motives as it is the message and method.
Experiencing the Heavenly Realm – author Judy Franklin is Bill Johnson’s secretary, she describes some of the visions and other experiences she’s had, with a good Bible background for them.
Prophetic Fishing: Evangelism in the Power of the Spirit – Jean Blasi – A good book on Holy Spirit-led evangelism
Fall to Grace: A Revolution of God, Self & Society – Jay Bakker (Jim & Tammy Faye Bakker’s son)
Culture of Honor: Sustaining a Supernatural Environment – Danny Silk of Bethel Church, Redding, CA
I also read other topics, including technical, biographical and historic books and other topics. I listen to audio books as well.
